That just means she likes you and wants to spend more time with you. Though I like my hair too much to go about it that way, I'd figure something else out. laugh.gif

If you knew Jordan IRL, you'd realize how false your first statement is.

Aww, well that's a shame.

Jokes on her, I don't have any money or other redeeming qualities. Pretty sure I'm just a bad habit at this point.

Sigh... went to Guitar Center to return that synth, and see what they had... Went ok I guess, but emotionally taxing is an understatement... Supposed to go out Monday for stepsister's birthday, but I don't think I can handle it... it doesn't help that apparently there'll be people that know me there that don't know... I hate myself...

Dont' get too worked up about it Casey.

You are doing what you need to do to get yourself in a better place mentally. If these people take issue with the changes that have occured since they last saw you, that's their problem. Not yours.

Chin up, Eyes forward.

Thanks Chris that's really kind of you, I try... Outside of crying and anger yesterday I did ok I guess, ended up not going because of my dysphoric paranoid ass... That's ok, I would've just sat there drinking water anyway because I can't afford $30 on one meal...

So brave of you to finally come out, but what does Bridget think of this?

She didn’t tell me no when I suggested a Miata. Take that as you will.

Finally got a chance to start cleaning it up tonight, as is always the first order of business with any new car. I cannot describe how filthy it was and still is. It will definitely need a ton of work to get it up to my standards, but I think it may only get to “good enough.” Decided to hit it with the buffer just to see how it would turn out. Not great but it’s a huge improvement.

Current issues: P0134 and P1135, so I definitely have to replace my upstream O2 sensor. Failed emissions this morning on NOx, caused by running too lean. Odd that it’s running lean as a result of a dead O2 sensor, I would expect it to default to rich. Temp gauge would only get up to about 1/4 on the highway too, so it’s time for a new thermostat as well. Parts were ordered this evening. Tires aren’t great but should get me through the summer, and the top is definitely due for replacement. There’s a tear in the driver side and the bottom of the rear window is not sealed at all. I haven’t really officially decided if I’ll keep it yet, but we’ll see.

Try this compound with this pad, you'll be amazed how well it cuts out nasty stuff and how nicely it finishes down, it's a one step process for hard to medium clears. Softer paints it works very well with a finishing pad but may need a very fine compound for follow up.
This pad is awesome, it's a combo of cutting and polishing fibers. It'll cut fast when the compound is still coarse and as it diminishes it'll polish it to a high gloss that's ready for a coating or wax once it's wiped down clean. No fillers at all, I did an IPA wipe down just to make sure what I was seeing was true polished gloss and not a bunch of fillers to make it look pretty.

With just that 2oz sample I was able to do all of my Mazda 626 which is a much larger car, I ended up buying the larger bottle because holy heck do I like how this product works. No dust, no sling, super long working time, when it's done cutting the smell gets stronger and it turns clear so it's pretty idiot proof. I used Apex Detail's video on it to get me going initially and adjusted the process slightly to my vehicle.

I found for heavier defects it was beneficial to spread some product directly onto the areas that needed more cut and for the pad to run across the fresh compound rather than having it loaded on the pad, it diminishes in abrasiveness quickly from it's virgin state so that extra coarse cut is only in effect for the first couple seconds of run. You can see Brian kind of doing that but I found taking that up a notch helped out more than going over an area again with fresh on the pad. That also reduces how long it takes to finish out a panel.

Thanks for the links! I’m just about due for new pads anyway. How soft is Mazda paint? Not that I think it’ll ruin this car if I accidentally find out it’s softer or thinner than I thought.

Medium I think, not sure if anything on my 626 is original or not. Some parts are harder than others, roof might be original and it's fairly tough.
