Oh yeah... So the guy that looked at the Firebird wasn't able to see the Miata on Monday like I thought he would, but he'll see it tomorrow and let me know. Based on what he said I feel 70-80% confident he'll go with the bird, but I can only hope for now. I'm just so ready to get on with life already, and have a car I fully enjoy driving again.

You still have the engine in the wrong place. Possibly the wrong orientation for it to be there.

My aluminum line came! I may need a uhhh....the thing you shove into the line to expand it back to round... looks like a sounding rod lol (get your minds out of the gutter). Swag? A swag? I'm not sure. But there's a tool for what I'm thinking of but I can't remember the name. Some of the coil looks pretty flattened which may not play nice with the compression fittings.

A tube expander, but all the ones I'm finding are for stepping up to the next size to slip together and solder which is not what I'm after. I just want to make it round and 3/8ths inch again. I'll have to see what the exact ID of the tube is and just wing it I guess.

You can use steel balls the size of the tube's ID to round it back out, even with curves and bends. Just use some soapy water and push them through one after the other until they come out freely. It's how they make the tubing for brass instruments.

That makes me feel a bit better. I miss it, and I'm all agitated today... probably doesn't help there aren't any Miatas for sale that I want to buy.
