Title showed up with a circular chunk missing out of it, so that's just great...

Wut? I guess it was caught in the rollers, the envelope and title are missing a circular portion. On the plus side I went for a short drive on the curviest road I know of around here, and the Miata performed flawlessly. "Slow down to 25 mph? Psshhh...." *slices through corners at 45 mph instead* Though I had to adjust my lines for idiots that couldn't even keep it in their lane doing 25 mph. -------------------- 2001 Miata LS 5-speed

So do you need to get a re-issued title or is that one OK?
Nice. It rained all day so I've been laying on the couch with the dogs and her watching Simpsons Tree House of Horror. She didn't watch The Simpsons growing up for some reason. Maybe it's just my childhood that's weird? -------------------- |

Googled around and at best the old one was 80% efficient, the new one is 80% efficient at worst but averages 90%, long term it'll earn back it's $55 cost vs running the old one long term. It is noisier but it'll be parked in the basement so meh. A little white noise down there is good. -------------------- |

That awkward moment you're better off with the older technology. OK Boomer. Ok Grandma, let's get you to bed. It's bad because I'm usually asleep before she is by about 30 minutes. It's never easy losing those you love, even if they're not people. Hmm... that could be fun if she's not driven the Celica before! I was thinking about going out in the Miata just for the hell of it myself. You forget to pay your gay bills? Last I checked, you're stuck here forever with me. I get that, a car you're not familiar with can be unsettling. Which I'm having to readjust to the Miata's tendencies versus the Firebird, so it's been like "Woah, I can TURN again!" Ooh sounds good, I just had buttermilk waffles with honey. Stop complaining about power. Add boost. Be happy. -Lorelei "Gotta Go Fast" Moira |

**** it was warm for fall today, got out after work in the Celica with her and the dogs, had some dinner out at the prairie again and took the dogs on a walk there. No fun driving but driving at least, bedded the brakes before going, man I've barely driven it this year which sucks.
Anyway, ran across this on the oootubes last night and I think I've got a crush on this guitarist lol. Hot and talented! Like damn that's some good guitar playing and she's cute af (to me at least). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cvYQ3svO9h0 -------------------- |

Trying to decide if I want to do a spare delete to gain some trunk space, the extra 5-6" of vertical space could come in handy. I'd put down some trunk liner/carpet to make it look nice and proper and I have roadside assistance on my insurance, so there's really no reason not to I suppose. Plus, not like I'd trust a 20 year old spare anyway.

And new spare tires are stupid expensive! Trust me, I look on tire rack and ouchy a good spare is not cheap for what you get and how much you're likely to use it. I'll take my chances and drive slow off the highway.

I recently bought a new tire for the donut spare in the Supra since the one that was in it had a gaping slash down the side. $113 shipped from TireRack. Didn't want to buy someone's old one cuz god knows how old that tire is and people would be asking $100 for it anyways, so buying a new one and getting it mounted was a no-brainer. I probably won't be using it anytime soon, but it's better to have it when I don't need it than not have it when I do need it.
Watching my friend mount the tire was pretty intense. lol -------------------- -Alex {](O_o)[}

Mrs. Lorelei Amaryllis Moira (Moved Middle name to Last name and chose a new name) and Mrs. Casey Layne Moira (took my middle name as her last name, kept her middle name, dropped her current last name) -------------------- 2001 Miata LS 5-speed

I got a bottle of the 303 Graphene hypeword in a spray bottle, it's so heavy on solvents but fairly easy to use. If it makes even 1/2 of their claimed 1 year protection I'll be happy.

I was having a discussion about trans folk in motorsport and was joking around with one of the other non-straight folk in the group. I managed to came up of the best trans-related car joke completely off the cuff.
P1: I'll try anything once P2: You mean you're not straight? P1: No. Not even remotely. Me: I mean straights are for drag racers, I prefer to have curves, be they mine or someone elses P2: So you traded in your ball bearings for a rotary? Me: Nah, I had some twins installed and converted my stick shift to a dog box. -Lorelei Amaryllis Moira -------------------- 2001 Miata LS 5-speed
