I know this has been asked before, but I don't think we've had a real heated discussion about it, so I'm putting it out again.

What colors look best on our cars?

IMHO I think darker metallics look best, they excentuate the curves of the car while masking any minor inperfections. My least favorite colors are flat light colors, for example white, they make the car look bulky and obesse.

There is odviously going to be some controversy, so let me hear it.. biggrin.gif

Colors either go with our cars or they don't. We dont have "mm it looks okay", it either looks good or it doesn't.

I'm a big fan of silver colors, my car is going from Silver to Gunmetal Silver. But if I didn't like Gunmetal Silver, i'd definitly do Perfect Blue. I'm not a big fan of Black or Red on our Cars, but I think another hot color for our Car is Yellow or Eclipse Orange.

i really admire black, i may be a little partial, but i just think it really accents the curves of the body. The only thing is, black shows no mercy, if you get the littlest ding, you will se it. And you better make sure you wash it good, cause if you miss an inch, that sun will hit it and make your whole car look dirty. I am also a fan of silver.

I've got silver and I'm a pretty big fan of it. It doesn't look too bad when it's dirty, and it's hard to notice minor imperfections, but when it's shiny and clean it looks damn nice. However, sometimes i think that silver isn't vibrant enough, I'd definately love something like perfect blue that people turn their heads to look at and say wow

IMO Black is the best color on ALL sports cars. But hey Im a little partial to black anyway. If I had to get another color it would have to be either the perfect blue color or the spectra metaclic blue thats on the 7th gens.

Black dominates. I don't like red on most cars because imo it clashes with the tailights. silvers and gunmetal are good too. Don't like flashy colors, jsut something clean that catches the eye.

silver and black huh?

its weird how MOST new cars on the road (in my area) are either silver, white, or black. I read somewhere that during recession those colors become popular, while more lively colors come back as the economy turns around. it could just be my ritzy area, but that seems pretty accurate.

I like silver the best, then black. After that white and red are a tie. My car is red, but im prolly gonna go with some type of metallic silver next summer. Only thing with silver is if you got silver wheels they dont stand out like they do on darker cars.

silver is hot, and i think silver rims make it look better if anything, accentuate (sp?) the car itself ...at least thats what i am hoping with mine biggrin.gif ....btw the eclipse silver is off the hook..and the gunmetal eclipse color is nasty nice too

The factory option silver rims ROCK on my car. They match the color exactly! It might not sound good, but you can trust me. If you can get silver rims to match your silver car, it's a big plus.
