I've got a wire diagram of the gauge wires also in case anyone is wanting to make a custom gauge cluster (like I hope to do this summer). You can use the diagram to keep all the warning lights, blinkers, ets. If anyone needs it just let me know and I'll scan it and send it to you.

note for those replacing a stock alarm in a 94 gt:
Its under the seat, and the harness that its connected to needs to be fixed in order to install a new alarm, and its easy. just unplug it, and cut off the plug, then look at all the wires, and connect the ones that are the same color, white/black with white/black etc. the old alarm uses a braker kinda thing to shut off surton things when the alarm gose off. this allows you to wire up a new one under the dash using the above listed wires rather then putting a new one under the seat. note: the colors do not match up, the ones listed above are correct but not the same as the ones under the seat, and there is no diagram for the ones under the seat. -------------------- |

I just installed a Viper Alarm and I wanted to thank you all on here for the information. I was able to read about wiring diagrams, how to's and images that helped me and my dad figure it all out.
Thank You! Special thanks to Coomer and Pali_playa for the wire listings and instructions. This post has been edited by Jaws4God: Feb 11, 2005 - 9:57 PM -------------------- ~Daniel~ No Longer Celica Owner.. moved on to a 03 WRX-EJ207

Eight years since this original post, has anyone managed to come across a wiring diagram for a 94 with the under seat alarm? -------------------- |

Necro bump. Does anyone know where the alarm brain is in a '96 convertible? It's not under the seat and i dont want to go tearing through the dash if i don't have to. I just took my drivers side dash out under the steering wheel because I saw some cut wires just dangling, they were aftermarket connections that were spliced halfass into the original . I also noticed a lot of piggy back connectors up near the fuse block and since my car has no alarm on it I am gonna say that the alarm once was housed in that area directly under the steering wheel, theres lots of room for it. |
