I'm really bored at work. So what's do you perfer best in styles of shift knobs? Pistol grip, the ball kind (like sparco's globe-x), or those tall skinny ones that look like sex toys?

Personally, after seeing the short shifter pics, I think I'm gonna buy the sparco globe x, cuz wrapping ur hand around the stock knob down there is gonna be tight.

I like the shape of my Greddy chromoly shift knob...too bad it gets hot enough to cause burns(I'm not even kidding...I had to take off my shirt the other day and put it over the shift knob so I could drive home from work.)

Here's a pic:

I really love the TRD shift knob that came with my short shift kit. Before that I had the MOMO race air knob and I loved it, to bad I got it in yellow insted of black. But we will see if I get another knob, but the TRD knob fells great in my hand.

Nope, I love the stock knob as well. I've never even considered getting an aftermarket one, except for the TRD ones on Ebay occaisonally, since they look about the same shape.

Hey coomer,
for the hot shift knob, days, I used to have that problem, buy one of those reflective sun screens. makes a huge difference. It blocks the knob perfectly so you can shift.

Im with Coomer...I love the Greddy shift knob, its got a great feel to it cuz its nice and small but has good weight behind it too. All I need now is a Shortshifter to go with it cuz it feels really sporty.

But damn can that thing get hot. biggrin.gif I would have taken off my shirt on several occasions, but instead it would burn my body cuz of the leather seats sitting in the sun all day. I usually have some extra shirts or a ski cap in my trunk, which BTW works really good. wink.gif
