there is a 1998 celica that has athe 3sgte in it for sale in my area

the interior is clean, the exterior has some dings and some small roblems with paint, expecially around the hood scoop.

i'd say its a perfect 20ft car, any closer and you notice the small things

1991 st185 engine under 66k miles on the clock, less miles on the engine

pretty clean looking swap

engine problems

does not have cold start mode
engine shakes slightly, possible vacuum leak(although boost gauge does not show it) or maybe the cap and rotor need to be replaced(owner did not say if they were new) the shaking can not be felt in the car, and idles steady at 900rpm.

while the shaking could be due to ignition, i have a feeling its because of the vacuum setup, it looks like there were only 3 vacuum lines comming from behind the throttle body, one for the boost gauge, one for the brake booster, and one that went somewhere. there might be a leak that allows unmetered air into the system like the plumbing for the wastegate actuator

could also be bad motor mounts, i only checked one and it looked ok from what i saw. or even a small exhaust leak(im guessing all this because i had the same shake in my celica when it was turboed and each time it developed it was either vacuum or exhaust leak, lol)

one other problem. the car boosts erradically from what i know of the boost of a st185 engine i believe it should boost 8psi or so in pretty much every gear. but in first it hits 12psi, 2nd 10psi, and 3rd only 5psi. car revved freely and made no strange noises, it was too hot to check the turbo for shaft play but im pretty sure its good.
