Your car is a work of art! I can't wait to begin customizing my ST, only had it for a few months. It's nice to see so many other independent women on the site...although I do feel a little bit selfish, Mom wanted me to get a minivan for the kiddies. My husband drives a Contour (hahaha!). I want to be a model, and get free car stuff too!!! mad.gif Can you get me in on the ground floor???

They don't sell them... i had them custom made from racing sheet metal. I'm gonna mess with them some more and add more stuff laters.

This might well already be a contender for the longest thread in the world ever, but since seemingly everybody else on the site has said hello, I might as well too. So, welcome to 6gc.net. I hope you like it here as much as I do.

BTW, I like the kandy apple red paintjob. Very nice, I once saw an EVO VII done the same way.

if mac is thinking the same way as me he needs to get his mind out of the gutter. lol. honestly, when you were getting your hood designed why were you like man that hood is hot. you may be the real lori ann, but i still think your car needs a lot of cleaning up. I think any plain jane red celica is hotter then yours. those taillights need to get re-molded or something, and whoever did it did a pretty sloppy job cuz on one corner its looks like someone went to far with a bandsaw and on the other end it looks like they didn’t go far enough. oh and your style of rims are overplayed and the front of your car looks like it should be breathing under water.

im not trying to be a "hater" i just think for a car that is sponsored, this is not acceptable. personally, i think my car looks better then yours and i don’t even have to go through the embarrassment of having my car branded by a company so i dont have to pay for a 150 dollar exhaust system and for car wax. seroiusly, you put stickers on your car to get 10 dollar car wax?

the only think i can say i like about your car is the 5th gen mirrors. (edit: and the paint job)

As far as the innovation goes: "Sting. Sting would be another person who's a hero. The music he's created over the years, I don't really listen to it, but the fact that he's making it" -- id sound just as stupid if i said i respected you for your innovation.

and nobody make this "oh treating girls badly bs" id give any guy or girl this exact same post, im just sick of seeing EVERYONE suck up. i know you all are thinking the same things i am you just dont have the balls to say it...

your car has just got too much going on at once and it looks tacky to the eyes

I've never seen ANY newcomer to the site get such a bashing from another member in their opening thread, be they male or female. Well done Andason, what a fantastic message to send out:

"Hey everyone! Come to 6GC.net...there's plenty of abuse for everyone!"

Well done, real smooth. You don't suck up to another member, you just say "Hey, nice car!" if you happen to think that's what it is. If you think it looks less than brilliant or even ugly, you don't rip apart every single thing that person's done to their car, you just don't say anything. Every person's car is their pride and joy and you've gotta respect that.

this thread is old. i can see your new also.

advice from a vet: try reading a whole thread before you post commenting on things.

also try searching the forums. the answer to your "turbonator" is not only listed 1000 times, but its also in the wrong forum

Shawn, you ARE being a hater, because the only reason you're doing this is because she is a girl and you're sick of her having attention. If this was anyone elses car on the site, say, a male newcomer, you'd just shrug and walk away.

do you see me hating on neverstop?

what about amysmojo? shes a girl and her car is badass and im not hating on her.

i think you need to stop trying to think for me. you also dont even know me, so dont pretend like you can predict what i do.

thats like me saying "the reason you made that post is because your a closet homosexual" --- they are irrelevant comments.

Wow Andason, you failed to respond directly to anything I said on any level. Congratulations. Rather than trying to justify your comments in some way or admit that you were unnecessarily harsh you'd prefer to look at my other posts in an attempt to find fault with me. Somehow I knew that's what you'd do, and yet I'd still hoped you might prove me wrong. Now to offer my response to a couple of points you attempted to make...

Fair enough, I didn't check to see if a similar topic was listed elsewhere as I was short on time this morning. Sue me.

But ultimately, none of this is important. You can make comments about me all you like. It won't bother me. And it won't change the fact that you were out of line.
Besides, if you want to preach the law of the land regarding forum rules, find me where it says it's OK to bad mouth other members and/or their rides. That's the real issue.

Basic Rules
1. Try to keep your posts clean. These forums, like the rest of the site, are designed to be a family-safe environment, and that means that you must watch your use of obscenities. This also means not attacking others in your posts. Try to be friendly, especially to newbies, and treat others how you want to be treated.

Rant over. (Sorry about this to everyone else, and for the post length).

yeah thats why you repost and ask old topics. i can link you all the info you need in any of your topics started. i may do just that. youve been here and you still dont have a single bar by your name. you have 15 uneducated posts. that = new. you dont even own a celica. i dont know how much you read, but me and my bad attitude is getting a new hood made here in america, which is no small feat.

look at your 404 kit, that answer is alllll over the place. so are your corny superchargers. 2ZZGE questions?

that is the extent of your posts.

someone delete this bickering, leave my one post though

I think the car is amazing. It is heavily modified yet still looks clean and is definitely a head turner. Its the presence of cars like hers that make this site better. Also, the fact that she has sponsorship and is experienced in the show circuit is something that is unique that she adds. I say welcome aboard Lori Ann and our collective apologies for any comments you might deem rude or crass. The enlightened want you to be a regular contributor of our on-line community.

OMG...

well ahem! I will respond with this... my taillights are not done yet and are even.... I love my car and love being sponsored. I honestly don't care for my wing...and the gills in the front does look like a shark.. ( I call my ride sharky sometimes!) biggrin.gif

$10 car wax? Meguiars gave me thousands of dollars worth of stuff, car cover, buffer and all assesories, gear, and unlimited cases of product every month.

Oh and I checked out your ride... CAN WE SAY BONE STOCK??!!! whoop dee doo you got some plain jane rims AND... wait! yeah, thats about it! I saw your mods... you barely have any .... All you have is a "TO DO LIST." - You don;t get props til its done... anyone can make a TO DO LIST FOR A FUTURE "SLEEPER CAR." Thats just an excuse to why your car IS SO STOCK!!!~ Do you want a cookie now?! There is nothing special about your cheesy ride. Which is funny cuz your car represents your state well. (Wisconsin- DAIRY STATE)

Oh yeah, how many trophies has your car won and how many magazines featured your ride. I bet you got tons of corporations calling you begging to give you money to put their products on your car and to use it for ads and promotions.

I think you are just plain GREEN with envy that people are advertising with my car. A coupe celica, a female owned celica, a 94 celica...

You know what...My deck alone is worth more than your rims.

And my rims are not played out... tell me why at NOPI Nationals out of 8,000 cars nobody had my rims. I got the real rims... 3 piece rims special ordered from GERMANY. fI don't know any other person with them. I wanted uniqueness when they were ordered... I did not want rims anyone can get, or were common. People may have SIMILAR RIMS, but not the real jank!~ My rims are worth over $1500 per rim alone buddy.(Math=$over $6,000) Those are REAL RIVETS, not NO one piece cheap ass rim.

face it, you are jealous and just want some attention. Sad, but true. So here's a Cookie and a quarter ... so why don't you call someone who gives a f*@k!

heehee ^_^

Smooches!

well, its not a super charger full blown out. Its a spiral max super charger, soposed to help air current and improve gas. Its like $50 - $69 each

My husband got it for me as a stocking stuffer back in 98 as a christmas present. I guess it makes a small difference.. but I can't tell too much. I can hear it though.

I think if you get it, get two. Put one by the filter and one on the base of your intake.

Good Luck!
