Whats the actual name for the thing that holds the rear numberplate? I want to take my UK long plate holder off and put a jap style small plate holder on, having trouble looking for one cause i dont know what its actually called. Anyone know what the name is and where i might find one? part number?
Cheers. |

I've always called that piece a Rear License Valance. I believe the US style and Jap style are the same.
I'd help you out with the part number on the back side of it, but I traded mine for a UK style one with 3TST in France. I know where I can get a US/Jap style one for you or a part number. Colin |

Outsider, why do you need a year and color code off of your car to confirm for a part # ?

Hey guys,
Im in spain until wednesday... Tomorrow i´m hitting the junkyards, I could probably pick some euro plate holders up if there is interest. How much are people willing to pay for these so i know whether to get some or not... |

Hey, I've got a UK GT amd want to do the exact same thing! Infact I was just searching the forums for any info when I came across your post. If we find out the part number will UK Toyota dealers be able to get us one? Also, has anyone got any ideas for what to do with the front number plate. I think it looks kinda ugly, like it's just been screwed on afterwards. I can't take it off because it's against the law over here |
