On monday night everyone i knew was studying for their final exams on tuesday. 2 of my friends decieded to go to the library, there they saw 2 of my other friends. One of the guys wants to buy my other friends cars so he asks him he could take the car around the block, my friend thinks about it and says yeah. He doesnt go with him b/c he was studying hard. I get a call 2 hrs later from the owner of the car stating that i should call the guy that test drove the car becuse hes been gone for 2 hrs and has not brought the car back. Im thinking to my self that my friend is an idiot for giving his car keys to someone. So i tell him hes a dumb ass and that they probably stole it. I was online at the time and my friend on aim tells me that there was this big accident on skokie bulovard, 2 min away from the library. Im like **** maybee. I ask him if there was a honda civic involved he like yeah. I call up my friend the owner of the car to tell him about the accident. he does not belive me and i tell him that im gonna meet him down there. i get there and it turns out to be them. Thsnk god no one is dead b/c they were not wearing any seat belts and they were ejecterd from the vehicle. The driver has a broken arm and the passenger has 5 broken vertebretes but i hope he e gonna have a full recovery.

Who's insurance is gonna pay for this?? THe owner of thr car, or the guy driving the car??

wow, people usually let others test drive, but the test drivers aren't morons like that

i'd imagine that in a lawsuit your friend can get some big bucks...
test-drive, not test-race
edit: this is assuming that they were at fault...

seatbelts are not always a safe thing. i know this guy that involved in an accident and he wasn't wearing his seatbelt and he got into an accident and the doctor said if you were wearing your seatbelt that you would prob be dead right now. and thas why he refuses to wear a seatbelt and he gets out of a ticket everyime. i think it should be your choice. now if i had a 4 point well maybe then i would wear a seatbelt cuz it doesn't look so gay.

Well that may be but seatbelts save more lives than they kill, I have been in 3 major accidents and each one of them I would have died if i was not wearing my seatbelt, 3pnt or 4pnt. One was when my sister was visiting me last summer and rolled my beloved land cruiser at 60mph, one was a racing accident, and the other was a stupid driver running a red light at execive speeds, whose pasenger wasnt wearing her seat belt and she went into the windshield and lost her baby that she was due in a few weeks with. Its a rude and very hard shock but had she been wearing her seat bealt she would have avoided most of it. Red light photos show her running the red and then shots after that... its a bit spooky to see.
