There are only 8 members in our Celica-Hyper Club.... It's a tiny club...
We have gathered together for about a year and a half ago... . We have no club leader. Everyone is equal in leading the club as everyone has his own specialty and knowledge... .

I really love my Celica-Hyper Club members.
Each member has his own unique characteristic and stand-point of view. I really like to discuss or argue with someone who sees a different view from me... .
I don't like to talk to or discuss with people who would support or follow my idea all the time... Its not constructive and very boring...
This is why I love 6gc.net and its members a lot too... .

Anyway.. enough talking.. and thank you everyone for clicking in... smile.gif smile.gif

Cheers.... wink.gif

There are some garages who specialize in doing all the wiring work for swapped engine cars here. The wiring guy has almost all the wiring diagrams for Japanese engines. It can be a 2JZ... RB.. SR.. 4A... 3S... B16.. B18... H22... CA32... etc...
The garage can do all the wiring for virtually any engine... .

For the side fenders, my friend just use the stock fenders as the mold and the rest he just shaped them up by himself.... .

As for the Silver Celica with the Caldina swap... This Celica is actually one of the two Celicas which successfully did the AWD conversion...

The owner used everthing(engine... transmission... ECU... steering wheel) from the Caldina except the rear trunk... rear diff.. and center drive shaft which has to be taken from a ST205... .

It took him quite sometime to complete the AWD project. The car runs really fine... I will try to take some pics of the tiptronic steering wheel and the interior of this Celica.... and if I can drag him to a garage with me, I will take some underneath the car pics for you guys as well....

For the Caldina Auto Trans with tiptronic function....
If you guys are interested in doing... you have to get all the parts right...

You have to get the Caldina's steering wheel as well for it to work... .

I don't know if this would be disencouragement....

I know that you guys can find a complete Caldina clip, but you cannot use the Caldina's AT in a FWD swap as it is a AWD trans.... You have to do the AWD conversion as well for everything to work... .

This would be the same example for 3S-GTE ST205 swap in FWD cars... MR2 MT has to be use here instead of the ST205 MT....

But hey... if any of you guys is really into the AWD conversion... then....
Grap everything that comes with the Caldina clip... don't forget to ask for the steering wheel as well... .
I'm not absolutely sure if the 7gc tiptronic steering wheel can be an alternative here... . If you have a really good wiring guy, this may work if he can trace all the right wires....

If you guys want to know anything more... please feel free to ask...

Cheers.... biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

Hey Lar-, really great cars. They all look awsome

I have a question about the direct coil 3sgte. Can you provide a link or give more info on it. What is the difference from the standard st205 3sgte?
Looking at the pics the only difference I noticed is the intercooler.
Thanx
