As far as i know a turbo and manifold from a 3SGTE will bolt onto a 3SGE but im unsure about the FE as i think it has a different head altogether. Different valve angley i believe. Toyota built the FE engines for low down torque and fuel enconomy. It may be possible though. Heres some pics of 3sGTE engine in my 4 when i had to rebuild it.

The 3SGE does not have the oil take for turbo off on the block and the compression rations are different. 3SGTE is 8.5:1 and 3SGE 94-97 is 10.5:1 i think.
As for mapping the engine etc you'd need some sort of piggy back ecu

You'd be better of swapping the whole engine for the 3SGTE it would save you a lot of time and money in the long run.

Hey Shid, he said "3sfe" - not 3sgte or 5sfe. Perhaps we should let our mates from across the pond (or others who know what they are talking about) field this one since people like you and me have no experience with 3sfe's.

i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.

But we know that the turbo exhaust manifolds from a GE head engine will fit ours perfectly. Also, headers from a 3sfe will fit out 5sfe just fine (bwilson has one). It's the fe head, and while the intake manifold is different, the exhaust manifold bolts up. I knew he was talking about the 3sfe engine.
