Well, this is the link:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...&category=42614

Anyone has any experience with these things??
My prob is, I have some very, extremely nice 17" rims here, but they're 5*114.5.

I can fit them using one of these adapters, but will it damage anything (I'm thinking, bearings,...

As far as I could see, my celi could handle a 25mm spacer without the wheel sticking out the side.

So, is something like this a nogo or a gogo

Thx for the replies

*edit, these are better ;-)
**edit2, damn me, changed the link again, this is te one I mean

most members here don't like the idea of having wheel spacers.

the part that alarms me is the metal they use is aluminumm i would prefer cast iron for hub adapters.

Well, trust me, I dont like the spacer idea as well. But its the only way to fit these 5*114.5 rims.
I would not be buying these, a shop in my neighbourhood also sells these custom made. just to show what I mean.

Its something like this or I have to sell the rims and I'd rather see these under the celi.

Spacers do not change the lug pattern.

i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.

Does the shop you go to make them out of Al or are they machined/cast out of a stronger metal?

I wouldnt know why they wouldn't work, or harm anything, because they aren't rotating off balance or anything.

If anyone needs interior stuff, etc, I'm parting whats left of my celi out. Just ask.

Those are not hub centric. I would never run them for that reason but its your car. Also, 30mm width is going to be alot, even with RWD offsets on the wheels.

Well, this is the rim I wanna put on....

http://www.pixagogo.com/S5mw!mCLWohm0g...M_/P1010001.JPG

I cant go to the dealer for the custom mades because my motor went bad, again (stupid 7a-fe), compression loss between cylinders 3 and 4 or something.

When I got it back I'll go there and then I'll have more detailed info on how much width I'll gain and what kind of material will be used if I wanna do it.

Btw, the conversion, any idea what that would cost me???? it will definately be 4 new discs,.... then I'd rather sell the rims I have here.
