Where would I find information which list everything I need to know on this car - mechanical and non-mechanical (optional or as standard) as it has left the factory in Japan?
Any ideas? I think my car is a 3S-GE? I could be wrong??? But it is an ST-202. Jaq1967 |

If you don't mind parting with some money, try this company who have genuine translated handbooks from japanese cars and ship internationally:
http://www.jpnz.co.nz/ Here's the direct link to the celica handbook http://www.jpnz.co.nz/xcart/customer/produ...=12&cat=&page=1 If you need a currency converter try this site: http://www.xe.com/ucc/ There are websites with info as well, but I can't find them right now - I'll keep looking -------------------- |

I'm happy to part with some money and thanks for the link!
Are those books good and detailed (you know...like those Haynes Manuals). Anybody had a copy? Is it good and detailed? They look promising and about £20.00 in UK money so pretty fair - just hope it isn't a wafer thin publication...lol (or postcard!). Jaq1967 |

If its a Jap import 1994 ST202 Celica its almost certainly the
3SFE engine, I used to have that model. The 3SGE engines were supplied on the uK/ European sourced vehicles... |

The Celica 93-99 book is 212 pages and A5 in size (made to fit in your glove box). It's an owners manual and outlines all the features and specs of your car and how to use them. I have yet to find a workshop manual for the SS celicas which tells you how to fix, repair and service the cars - but I'm still looking The last 5 pages contain tables of the specs for the SSI, SSII, SSIII (VVT-i), GT-Four, GT-Four TTE Group A and convertibles. Specs include things like engine model, displacment, transmission, suspension, brakes, maximum torque & power, weights, length, width, height, oil capacity, clutch pedal play etc. The book covers almost everything from how to use the airconditioning and the differences between the two car keys, to what the flashing petrol symbol means. Hehe, I'm starting to sound like a salesperson -------------------- |

My mistake, SS1 was the 3SFE, I'm looking at the spec sheet on the 3SGE and its rated at 200BHP/ 7000rpm, that would make it more powerful than the top spec 7th gen, is that right? |
