hi all this is my first post and yeh. my mom released the parking brake on my 94 gt and she ended up smashing the fender and the bumper after it ran into the back of a tow truck. i was looking at the GT4 bumpers and they look really nice and i wanted to get one along with a GT4 hood. i dont know if ive been reading the descriptions correctly or not but it says taht the GT4 bumpers will only fit on the GT4's. is this true or can i buy a GT4 bumper and a GT4 hood and have it fit on my GT? its a hatchback if that makes a differance. sorry if there is a thread about this already but i couldnt find one so any and all advice is greatly appreciated thanks.

The GT-4 bumper would fit, but I think (and people with the bumper can confirm) that you need to buy the crash pad stuff that goes behind the bumper in order for it to fit properly. It wouldn't matter if you are hatch or coupe, since the front is the same on both, and GT-4's only came in hatch form. If you are going to get a GT-4 hood make sure you get a GT-4 bumper with it, because the hood has different body lines than the USDM bumper, and you would have a nasty body gap. And it goes both ways.. you get one, you need the other..
Are the side fenders screwed as well? If so, you could get the JDM fenders with the fancier side markers... and hell while you're at it, buy some of DoGGy's GT-4 spoiler blocks.. and do a GT-4 body conversion.....sexy.... -------------------- 1991 MR2 - T-tops - Crimson Red - Gen3 3SGTE - Lots of money

read the info in the sticky in the top of the forum
everything is there. the gt-4 stuff will bolt on for the most part. you'll need to extend your hood latch about 1/2 in, and modify your crash bar, or get the jdm one and frame brackets. the search button is your friend. -------------------- Former Team 5SFTE pro member ;)

I did it to my 94 GT. It works. If you go for the fogs then you need the jdm bumper reinforcement. Upper radiator support or upper bumper support is important too.
