When I PM'd him he told me what i do is take all three bulbs and buy them as white LED's or just white, then you take all the numbering and lines that you want red and put a red film around it. Or in the back of the cluster. That picture that i posted of his. kinda showes ya guys what its gonna look like. When i do it this week i'll post some picks of my air/heat control that i made red. and my gauges. havn't started the gauges will saterday.

Well after about 3 hours yesterday of trying out my custom work. It failed. I thought maybe the hyper white LED's i bought would work. But turned out like crap. So I possibly will have 4 Hyper white LED's for sale and i just put regular white bulbs in for now. Will post a pic of what it looks like till i get regular White LED's
Let me know what you guys think of it as of now? When i get my white LED's it will not be as DIM and will be brighter This post has been edited by celiracer: Dec 4, 2005 - 3:09 PM -------------------- |

Very important warning:
I'm driving a UK spec (nn-import) '97 reg Celica. After 3 different sets of bulbs, all in the wrong sizes, I found out that for my dash i needed 3x 501, NOT 194 like everyone else. Make sure you check that before you order. |

dude, red will be fine! there are so many cars that have red guages/radio/climate control lights in them stock. my mom's suzuki and my ex's grand-am both have red lighting...they won't bother your eyes. in fact it looks pretty slick. coomer used to have his guages red, but i guess he changed them back because he took that pic off.

Red like blood red is too harsh of a "warm" color for most people to look at for long periods of time. -------------------- 1999 Celica GT
