QUOTE(94wrc @ Apr 27, 2006 - 11:41 AM) If I had the choice between a Skyline GTS or a GT4, the 4 would win every time, my mate has an R33 GTS and my 4 whips his ass upto about 150 then he can overtake but off the line he is a speck in my rear view mirror Nathan Alright nathan, yeah I think the four is going to win. I've always wanted a skyline since I was little, but for the price of a standard GTR I could get a GT4 and give it some major modding. Get yourself to some shows and come and say hi to us. |

I was very disappointed in the GTS, I thought it would be stupid quick..................it isn't. It does sound awesome though.
I intend to go to Japshow at the pod so I will have a look for you, I want to go on a RWYB day too to have a go down the strip as I suspect my 14ish seconds would look very slow compared to all the 10 second cars Cheers Nathan -------------------- 1994 JDM ST205 WRC with 17" OZ Chrono's wearing 215/45/17 Eagle F1's. Was always going to be a black GT4, but I actually like the white ones too. Nice purchase. Get yourself to some jap shows this year and say hi. I'll be with Celica Club on 20th May at Castle Combe and I will be with Jap Club for most of the other shows throughout the year, VSIDEBOY on all of the forums. Is it 'Japfest' at castle coombe?? i went a couple of years ago. Definitely upgrade to the GT4 if you can because its much more of a sports car! Theres not much you can actually transfer over to the GT4 (I was hoping that everything would, but its a totally diffeent beast!) Yeah JapFest at Castle Combe on 20th May. I'm near Hull in East Yorkshire so its a bit of a trek all the way to Bristol for 1 day so me n my lass are gonna go down on the Friday and stay at the nearest Travel Lodge that night. Not sure whereabouts in the UK you are but I'll be happy to meet up with you if you go to any shows. I was also considering a skyline, but I doubt funds will stretch to a GTR so would end up with a rear wheel drive GTS and I'm not sure if I want that, plus I think the GT4 would be easier on the wallet in the long term. Dan I might come down this year (I live in Worcester, just down from brum). I wouldn't get a GTS, you can pick up a decent 33 GTR for about £10k ish. My mates got a R32 GTR, he got it for £6k. It's not hard to recoup your £20 I promise you that.
Easily save 2 or 3 times that a year across the discounts. Plus where else can you go for the weekend and race round a track on a Saturday and 1/4 mile on a Sunday for £40 I think?? |
