The hatch's look good from certain angles...don't ask me why. I used to hate that I had the couple...I wanted a hatch so bad, but I love it now. I also hate how the tail lights look on the hatch.

Despite the fact that I've got a coupe, I like the hatches so much more than the coupes, for a bunch of different reasons. I think that the hatchback looks much better from the side and the back(from the front it's hard to tell that it's a coupe), I think the tail-lights look better, it has more cargo space and no rear deck to rattle and block the bass from subs, and body kits and a lot more wings will fit the rear end of the hatch. My friends and family all say that they like coupes a lot more than the hatchbacks, but I'd trade my coupe for a bone stock hatch with the same options and mileage and everything in a second.
The coupes are still cool though, and they have their advantages. They're lighter and the rear end is more stiff because there's a rear deck to provide lateral support. -------------------- New Toyota project coming soon...

I like coupes better. Although I think hatchbacks look better in pictures, in person they don't look proportional. The front of the hatch is way too long compared to the back. I like how the coupes have a longer back, and while the rear bumper probably sticks out too much and is a bit too high, it looks less awkward when lowered. I've wondered many times if a hatch would have been a better choice, but I'm sticking with my coupe.

I think that the coupes just look funny for some reason. I duno why but they do. I think that the only way that I would own one is if it was a convertable. But I love my HATCHBACK.

Have to go with a LIFTBACK <----- correct term for it. Newayz.. they just look more aggressive than the coupes, plus from the rear it looks a lot wider and lower than the coupe... which it really isn't but just looks that way

I used to think the hatch looked better but now (I guess since i own one) Im a little more fonder of the coupe. I know this might sound blasphemus but when I look at the backside of either style the hatch reminds me of an integra and the coupe reminds me of a prelude.

Its gotta be the hatch (or 'liftback' as its classified over here). I always loved the gen6 when it was dominating the WRC.
The coupe's are new to me as we don't get them here in the UK. Think I've only seen one in the flesh (must have been imported). |
