This has been discussed a lot before on these forums, and if you do a search you'll find a lot more information, but generally, everyone has come to the conclusion that it requires a full sixth generation Celica GT-Four, lots of money, and lots of time and work to convert your car to all wheel drive. There is no kit to do the conversion, and as far as I know, no-one has ever done the conversion.

Also, the best engine to swap in is the 3S-GTE. Look at the engine swap sticky thread and search the forums for more information on this engine.

thanks alot i hate the fact that it is so hard to get the all wheel drive on the celica i would never need another car if it had all wheel drive .

for the 3-gte what would be a good price to pay for that engine

It depends if you get just a clip, just the motor... and what gen motor you get...

You can motors with the ECU generally for around $600.

ST185 clips generally cost about $1000 to $2000
ST205 clips generally cost about $3000 to $5000

It just depends on where you get the stuff from.
