i just started my LED taillight project over the weekend and mine look pretty close to them. here is a sneak peek. i have a little more shaping and some filling to do, but they are coming along.

thanks, it is a two part poly-urethane expanding foam. i used it in some other projects and thought it would be the easiest way to get the shapes i wanted. it works awesome for shaping. once i finish shaping, i will throw some filler on and sand it out then paint them.

WoW, all the after market tail lights ive seen for the g6 are just decent but these are amazing!!! I thnk i need them.... biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif or need to make them....

For some reason they remind me of the rx-8 tail lights, but still a sweet pair of lights, id definitely get a pair if i could!

And if you do this - without adding Fiberglass - your surface after some time will be curved all the way, cuz foam sanks time after time...

looks like theyll be coming out in the spring.
