Are these worth getting? 145K on my Cel GT 95. Original Shocks+Springs. Already ordered the KYB GR-2 SHOCKS STRUTS for it. Mechanic said should get springs too and put in at same time. Looking to not spend much.
Also, these adjust 0-4". What is good one to adjust too? Just looking for a smooth ride.

um i dont know if there good or not but i wouldt trust them there only 9 bucks and i think your safty is alot more important that saveing a couple buck

also i think this has already been a topic. try doing a search on it

Let me rephrase my question.
What are the cheapest/best ones for your money that are not adjustable.
Im not lowering it, will be driving daily. Dont want a bumpy ride. Matching up with the KYB GR-2.

if you want to keep your original height and have the orginal ride comfort. Then you should use your orginal springs, or buy new orginal springs from a toyota dealership.

Any aftermarket performance springs will stiffen up your suspension and make your car less comfortable on the road.

Dealership - springs are not in stock. Looking at 2 weeks and $300 for all 4 for just parts. Hmm. I think Ill just stick with these for $40. I already dropped $200 for the struts. So $250 for parts plus prob another $150 labor - $400 total is quite a bit for me.

dont do it. get Teins or eibach or something with more reputation, at the end is your money but those springs are just NOT SAFE.

Not safe? In what regards? Are they going to snap or something while driving? Im not sure if the car will even last another 2 years. Im replacing springs that were originals - 150K, 11 years old. These new cheap ebay ones are gonna be worse?

So these are alot better since they are not coilovers? Worth the extra $120?

you're aiming in the right direction now, but just be carefull since most of the Teins springs on Ebay are FAKE, not all of them so just doble check. but Teins are good, take into consideration that they are lowering springs, so when you lower your car it will look better and have better handling but they'll feel a little bit bumpier than stock. I think most of the members here with lowered cars have Teins. the best for the money.

OK. Teins it is. I just cant find non-lowering springs which are as cheap as these. Dealer wants double for normal springs. As long as I dont need anything extra done to the car (like alignment) , parts, to install these lowering teins - then Ill get em. Again, my goal is to save money- but also get quality.
I checked out the counterfeit signs for teins. Ill return the product if it does show any signs of being fake. Ad says 100% Genuine -so we'll see.

grab some crash bolts and get that thing aligned imo.. crash bolts from your local dealership are like 20 bucks for 4

You need to have it aligned even if they are just changing the struts. When you change the struts you also remove and reinstall the springs so no difference. Don't cheap out on this. This is your safety and car we are talking about. If you have to wait a little longwer to get the extra $ from you're next paycheck.
BTW - If your springs/struts are that old chances are they are already bumpy. You may notice an improved or at worst not different ride quality with the quality parts you are putting on. My Eibach Sportlines did not feel bumpy over stock. I get compliments all the time on how smooth my car is "for a lowered car" LOL. Dropping your car will grow on you too. Soon you will be hating on your friends/gf's car cause it feels like a truck. wink.gif

I got the Teins in today! They are real! Compared them to the pics on the counterfeit site. Got them on ebay from highperformanceoutlet for $118. Also got my KYB struts in last week. Now, just have to make time to give to mechanic. Yeah - the original struts+springs now look they have lowered 2'' on their own. So these will feel like heaven. Didnt know alignment is needed. My mechanic (old time private guy) would have prob done it anyway on own.
Thanks for your advise!! Will let you know how they turn out when their on. Im glad I didnt cheap out and buy the cheap $40 springs..

crash bolts help with the camber adjustment.. a camber corection is a good Idea to have when you get your car alligned..especially since its going to be lowered
