Since I hadn't posted mine here before I'll post my fav pic from after I got the GT4 hood. I'm still so happy with it!

Everybody I know keeps telling me to leave it flat black but IDK. Silver with black vents seems best to me.
I'd like for the whole car to be flat black but that would require serious $ and my stock paint is still showroom since the car has always been garage kept.
What do you guys think?

don't paint the whole car flat black. keep the silver. for the hood, either way, keep it black or paint it silver, it'll look good either way!

So much for twins. It has a much more agressive look now.




I have the same ornament delema with my hood.
I think I'm painting the front scoop and leaving the rear
black. I think it would look more semetrical than all 3 black.

Hurley's is looking much more agressive these days too. I was thinking to paint the little timing belt scoop and leave the othe three vents alone but IDK. Wish I had pics of different chioces to choose from. I'm in no hurry to paint though. I'm getting Dogg'ys OEM exstensions next and the gonna get the dings taken out [preferably paintless] and then getting what needs to be painted all in one shot.

97lestyousay - I demand pics!

BTW - for those of you with Silver Celicas - it sounds ghetto but a silver sharpie makes excellent touch up paint. I dare you to spot the large touch up spot on my above pic. You can't. it takes work to find it in person. Necessity is the mother of invention - cause Toyota's touch up paint for our cars is watered down and doesn't work for $hit.

i left all my vents unpainted. i prefer it that way imo.

Hurley's is looking much more agressive these days too.

lol that was who I was talking about, mine looks the same, one skirt on
that needs sanded and re-checked for fit and everything still needs paint.
I haven't even tried the other skirt yet. Hurley is way ahead of me in
mods, soon to be even further I suspect.
I'm poor.

OOOH Joe Goddamn! That is one sweet looking car. Love the Super Red Calipers with the glossy black paint. And those rims look perfect on her.

did you paint everything? it looks like you painted the caliper, bracket, and pad lol
only my caliper itself is painted...and only the one in the back
I just got GT front calipers so those will be painted and put on soon, I just didn't like having to look for front brakes for one car and rear for a different car



I'm starting to think I need JDM tails, they're nice I just really like the distinctive way the USDM tails light up at night

i didnt get a chance to paint the calipes before i put them on the car. and i was too lazy to take everything apart and whatnot so i just covered stuff up and sprayed away.

Looks great . IMO it looks waaay better without the GT4 front bumper. Now you and I just need some front splitters and paint although I think both of our cars look pretty good with black hoods. Is that a gelcoat Toyota used?
The hood looks funny from inside huh? The only view I don't like is when you get out of the car and look down the hood. I wish it didn't have such a pronounced bump near the windshield but oh well.

Hurley - If you use the USDM harness with the JDM tails you can make it light up the same. I may be the only one whose white part lights up too. IDK. If you like the way mine looks I canshow you hot to do it.

That's not the orange turn lit up. The picture doesn't do it justice. At night the white comes on with the two reds.
