I'm trying to find ways of making my car better for the track, so I've been looking through old forums of braces people have put on their cars. I want to see an update of this. Who has what? Side braces, underbody, struct tower, 3 point rears, 2 point rears, and anywere else. I'm going to try and slowly make the car into a solid chuck of metal. All I have are front and rear strut bars right now, but the car is pretty solid. When I take them off, it feels loose as an SUV. Post pics and opinions!!

do you have sway bars ? the suspension techniques made the biggest difference on my car, I have lowering springs, front and rear two point strut bar, poly bushings, but nothing like the sway

I'm working on getting some sway bars one day. I'm try to just stiffin the car up to make what I have work to the best of it's ability before I upgrade. I think I'm going to have to upgrade though if I want to do much more. I just checked the Solo2 STS rule book and I don't think I'm aloud to add any more braces. Good thing I don't have anymore or I would have to report myself. I'm still interested in seeing what everyone has.

I believe its Cusco that makes an underbody brace. theres a picture of it somewhere on this forum, I can't remember whos car though, if I ever find it I'll post it though.
those side braces in the fender seem pretty useless but I'm still curious as to whether anyone that has them actually noticed a difference and how much -------------------- |

Upper strut braces are good...go for the three point front and rear.
lower strut braces are a waste of time...I bought one for added bling, but it does nothing to effect the stiffness on the car what so ever. If you want real stiffness, the only way to go is a Full roll cage, but that might be a little overkill...and it dosnt make for a comfortable driving position. Any other bolt on gismo`s I`d be a little warey about....as I`d doubt there effectiveness |
