yesterday afternoon i ran into a friend from behind. My car isnt totalled, it needs some work. I hit them from about 15mph on my left corner and messed up my fender. hood, headlight, fusebox, and some of the top frame. I was wondering will the frame above and below the headlights actually come off? i dont think it does, and since its mangled so bad would the best idea be to cut off the section on another car and weld it in place of the old one? Also my fuse box is buckled and cracked how much should i worry about water getting in there? Just my luck i got it repainted about 2 months ago, anyways thanks for any help

ok so i cant really decide if its totalled or not, either way i have to pay for it but here they are
yeah i took the fender off cause it was pretty crapped up thats where my headlight is now located, and yes the silverstar bulb still works my poor fuse box, and with it like that im really scared to drive in rain, any suggestions? overall picture of my frame damage, so would cut in weld be the best option? im sorta scared too cause the damage stops right behind the hole where the big black and yellow wire come out? so how would i disconnect those and pull them out? my biggest problem is driving around with it exposed, im scared that there is a cute wire somewhere, my open headlight, my cracked up fuse box will get water in it and im going to start having electrical problems, if not an entire meltdown. Yeah id hate to set off my airbags haha

ya you should be alright. Just going to have to beat the frame back into somewhat the same shape. And i would definitely look for a way to seal up that fuse box or source a new one and replace it.

i think its safe to say ur cars not totaled..lol but i really doubt water getting into the fuse box will set off the airbags..but i cant imagine water would be good for the fuse box.

hm, well i dont really have the money to start doing much to it anyway. but im going to repaint the whole car again after, im really not sure how to go about beating back the frame like that, its very sturdy and seems almost impossible to get it back to the original shape
