Just wondering because I like the throttle response and ease of driving a supercharge car than a turbocharge car... I have some friends that have supercharged V8s and I was wanting to get them to gather and have them help me bolt up the supercharger kit to my car if their is one...
My local Custom shop... said that they don't make turbos or superchargers that can go on my car... and he adviced me to sell my celica st auto and get a firebird formula or trans am and mod it... Thanks... |

I don't think I've seen a supercharged 7A-FE, but it might(I stress the might...I'm just guessing) be possible to use some 4A-GZE components to supercharge the 7A-FE engine. John might be able to help you more, as he's currently doing the 4A-GZE swap in his car.

If you just have the money laying around, Jackson racing will make one for you,,, but it'll cost, and take time. The 4a charger seems to bolt up to the block, so I doubt it would work. John is Mynzeyes, the moderator.

Yes it is possible to supercharge a 7a-fe.
It is infact a 7a-gze. It consists of a 7a-fe base using primarily the bottom end and mating a 4a-gze top end. More detailed info. is available at www.corollaperformance.com where this has already been done. |
