i actually have the three buttom banana look remote. i know my car has a buttom next to the steering wheel left hand side you have to press that buttom in a sequence to program the remote.

This procedure is for ST204 97-2000 according to a remote programming manual. I hope it helps.

1. Have all remotes you want to program with you.

2. Ensure security system is disarmed and all doors are closed.

3. Open hood.

4. Open drivers door, get in, close door.

5. Within ten seconds insert key in ignition, turn to on position and back to off position 5 times. Do not remove key. (Red security led will illuminate and alarm will sound.)

6. Open and close driver door one time.

7. Turn ignition on and back off one time. Do not remove key.

8. Press either button on the first remote. (Security led will turn off for one second to indicate successful program.)

9. Repeat steps 6-8 for up to 4 remotes.

10. When all remotes have been programmed open driver door and get out. Do not close door yet.

11. Close hood.

12. Close driver door. (Security led will turn off and alarm will sound one time.)

13. Check remote for proper operation.
