QUOTE(purepunishment @ Sep 19, 2007 - 6:56 AM) i have a 6 speaker setup in my car. what size tweeters go in the stock location? The ones in mine were 1". I just replaced them with some CDTs last week. The mounting bracket for the stock ones has a screw that goes through the bracket into the back of the tweeter. My new tweeters didn't have any way to screw into the back of them, so I just epoxied the new tweeter to the stock bracket and it works fine. I imagine you could go with the 3/4 inch ones also if you had them. Samantha |
