ive been searching for the last three freakin weeks and i cant find any where that sells gt motor mounts and gt transmissions thats the only only things i have left to get so i can start my swap any one know of a good place to get those or if any one has any spare parts

I think he meant the mounts itself, not motor mount inserts haha. Hit up the dealership for the mounts? Junk yard for tranny. Car-part?

i bought a rear mount for 40 bucks from 1sttoyotaparts.
they have em... -------------------- Learned a lot in 10 years... I hardly log in anymore, last login Today Sept 6 2019, and I was forced just to clarify a post. LOL

The 153 isn't the GT tranny. Its Solara, Camry, mr2 Tranny

You have to remove it yourself though... also, I've seen good engine mounts at the junk yard for $10 each... just have to look around |

i wish man the junk yard is out of the question
i have owned my celica for two year while constantly going to the junk yard week after week... here in vb,VA there just are NO 6gc's AT ALL it really sucks now that i think about it i am going to have a lot of horsepower when im done with the build so wut would be cheaper a mr2 turbo lsd tranny or rebuilding a gt transmission from a junkyard somewhere -------------------- |

The GT tranny is S54, like 99GT stated the E153 is the Solara/MR2 turbo transmission. Not much is known about the limits of the S54, if your going big power, 300+ to the wheels, you may want to start looking for an MR2 transmission with LSD.
