QUOTE(Supersprynt @ Oct 22, 2007 - 9:15 PM) So I hit 200,000 today, and then some. So besides the fact that the motor, transmission, suspension, interior, paint and wheels don't have it, the rest does How is it running? Did you get the tranny issues straightened out? I was at 215k and running strong before the wreck, and that was with RallyCross beating on it (like AutoCross but in the dirt). Toyota engines will last 300+ as long as you take care of them.
Only things I needed to make it to 215 were an alternator, clutch, and regular oil changes. I was running Syntec 5w20 with Restore every 3rd or 4th change. Now the Supra (mk3 7mgte) is sitting at 177k and just needs a few gaskets. |

245,487 miles
Celica ST I believe a wheel bearing in the rear passenger is going out, the shift boot is tore up, and the engine is eating a quart every 1500 to 2000 miles. Other than that - the engine runs fantastic (easy starts, pulls well etc). There's no oil spots when I park, and I have a new clutch. Myself and my friend who owned it before me are fanatics about changing the oil every 3,000 to 5,000 miles (and other maintenance) . I'm sure that's why she's still going. I'd imagine the rings or the valve seals are leaking out the oil, and the engine will need replacing... just not sure when? I may sense a V6 swap in my future This post has been edited by Jeremiah: Nov 2, 2007 - 12:06 PM |

When I swapped in the 3SGTE, I had 249,881 miles on the odometer.
Original motor and transmission are still in amazing shape, I probably could have gotten at least another 100,000 miles out of that motor. But the 3SGTE has probably somewhere around 50,000 miles and it definately shows. -------------------- 3rd gen ST205 3SGTE - Alive and boosting. |

I'm over 275,000 now, and it's running great. If I had to choose between the Celi, and the MR2T, the 2 would be gone!

I have been waiting for it...
only 4,000 on the engine, about 120k on the transmission, and maybe 40k on the suspension... but 200,002 on the rest as it sits right now... -------------------- |

QUOTE(94celigts @ Oct 23, 2007 - 3:09 PM) yikes i have 243xxx km, orig engine, trans, paint, rust, rims, suspension. i feel bad now I've got 367,000kms (228,000 miles) on my 94 ST, with original everything. Runs like a top, but I'll be doing the clutch this month; it finally wore out. Oil control rings leak, as expected, and the valve cover does a bit, too. Otherwise, it's in amazing shape. |
