I've been really pissed lately at my celica breaking down, mostly due to rust and just be old and rattly. And every week I'd look up the classified and..well, I found a deal I just had to take..so here goes the ultimate winter pwn'r!
A 2002 WRX!!! I'm already loving everything about the car..it definitly feels "different" than most 4 bangers (the noise and the power)..those who drove scoobies will know what I mean! And yes, I went to play in the snow..this is the next best thing after skidoos! 227 hp of pleasure! It may be made for snow, but can easily slide into a pole doing some donuts in a parking lot.

Welcome to the Boxers side
Only thing - dont be exited about 227hp - on a Dyno it would be nice if you will find atleast 200 there Its a WRX anyway One thing you should be carefull - gearbox, go easy on it - cuz otherwise - it will be a costy repair And next thing you should try - find someone with a JDM 2l STi engine swaped Rex - and you will be in love one more time (or in worst case - try USDM 2.5 STi - but 2l one feels better anyway ) -------------------- Ex celica owner - just a guy from other side of the pond...

I've read alot about the glass transmission problem and it was the only thing that kept me from buying one, actually this one has 130 000 KM and all the synchros are fine, which lead me to beleive, and I hope, means the car has not been beaten on, I got all the records of service and carfax..seemed liked a good buy. I know it ain't a STI, but...227 hp sure feels good ..specially when I've been driving 5s-fe for 5 years now Only bad thing I found so far is I think the struts are shot and theres a loud belt squeeling when its cold and I start the car...it was -20 this morning and it was annoying, argh!
