are there pix of what hid bulbs look like in the stock non projector non clear jdm head lights?


oh and

anyone here have HID's in their highs (9005) and how do they look?

im planing on

HID 4300k white (no blue) in my lows
and
3000k yellow in my highs

i think with the highs and the lows on it would look nice

n e one care to comment please do

the lifespan of your hid's will be reduced significally if you use them as high beams... high beams are usually used to flash and sign to other people, and hid lamps (discharge lamps) will burn out faster if you only have them on for short periods

i usually only have them on for long periods when im up in the mountains or in the back country

Craig, this set up will be fine. It will look amazing, the only difficulty is finding places to mount 4 ballasts. I had a hard time finding a place to mount 2. There have been a few people to use HIDs in their USDM/Zenki headlights. It's very bright.

This is the best I can find right now of a pic to help you out. Just take a look at this thread, there's 2 pictures in there for you, however they are not 4300k, but it give's you somewhat of an idea of what HID's look like in the factory housings.
