When changing out the strut mounts, is there a bearing i need to order seperately for the rear mounts?? I got a set of KYB mounts for the front and rear - they havn't come in yet, but from what i hear there is a bearing i need for the rear that's not included?

When I did them I actually used all of my old mounts. I only noticed the bearings in the front and I do not believe there were any in the rear. When you take mount off the spring, you should see the bearing, comes right out. I don't see why you couldn't reuse your old ones as long as they are in good shape...

I checked the front suspension and they are in fact cartridges and not the sealed type. Here's my dilemma - as of right now i have both cartridges AND sealed struts/suspension for the front. Could i still swap out the front rebuildable struts with the new sealed set i have? reason i ask is i really need new struts on the front anyway, along with new shocks... I know it's a bit of a step down in versatility for future upgrades, but i doubt i will be doing anything else to the suspension anyway. Is it physically do-able? i mean would the sealed struts fit the same as the rebuildable set would? The front struts are a bit sorter in length than the rear - this is normal, right? thanks!

Yeah. Just rip out your old front struts, which are rebuildable right? Well rip the whole thing out and install the sealed struts. You'll be good to go. No need to add brake fluid since they come sealed.
