Did I just get ripped off?, Scammin on 6gc.net Options

Hey, just wondering if anyone personally knows a 6gc.net member "djestylez401"? I purchased struts/spring from them on the 30th, and here it is the 8th and I have not heard a thing back. I dont want to say that I got scammed, but 9 days and no replies to PM's or e-mails...kinda looking that way. Just figured someone might possibly know whats going on.

If you paid through paypal give it a little while. But you did state the person isn't returning your pms or emails. I'm the type of person that will get nervous after a day and half if I don't here from them. I say after about a 3 weeks then dispute it. Keep trying to contact them. I hope you didn't spend a lot on thep arts.

well he hasn't logged in since the first. he may not even know that you sent him some messages. try to send him emails to the personal email address.
he seems to have good feed back allthough 3 of them is for stickers but one of them was for a sale. i don't know. you never know what's going on. i understand being nervous though.

Well, I dropped 300 on the parts, and PayPal has already cleared. On top of that I've sent PM's (almost everyday now), and sent e-mails to two diffrent e-mail accounts. I just dont want to think that i just gave away 300.....sucks

First off, it's 9 days. I been waiting about a month for bulbs. Secondly, did you pay with an e-check? That takes 3-4 business days to clear. If this were 3 weeks or a month I'd be worried but 9 days...

I really feel that, if you havent dealt with buying and selling things online, you tend to get nervous really fast. Guys that deal with online trades everyday don't get worried, because their pros. I'm still a beginner when it comes to trading online and I understand why you are getting worried. But relax, maybe he's on a vacation or booked with finals.

Just file a dispute with paypal... they will send him an email telling him to reply asap. If he does, and its all a misunderstanding, you can cancel the dispute... but if he doesn't paypal should cover your funds. Do it now because you only have about 30 days to file a claim. 9 days is more then enough time for a reply when you know you have stuff for sale and you know you got someones paypal money.

Hey everyone I appreciate all the input, I already filed a dispute w/ paypal, im still within my window to file a claim, hopefully i wont have to. I was just trying to find out if anyone knew this person and if they did, what was up. This isnt my first BBQ here, 9 days (10 now) is more than enough time to at least respond. It just sucks that it had to be another 6'ger. But again, thanks for the input!

i waited a lil over a month b4 i got a reply on my jdm tails. i sent emails and tried to call but the guy wouldnt answer back. but i lucked out. he called me out of the blue 1 day saying he needed a confirmation on my mailing address. i got the lights 3 or 4 days later. he told me he was really busy.i was a lil mad but i understand times suck lately. anyways good luck.
