check out the parts database for some useful info about parts you can buy

if you dont know if you know your chassis code but its AT200

i would suggest

intake (cold air intake) www.evilspeed.com

thats the best cold air intake (CAI) you can get for your car

also he sells exhaust too

get an obx underdrive pulley

dont know the website but its in the parts database

look on the buying/selling forum

the title is called Someone buy this

its a 7a-fe turbo'ed thats an amazing motor..its 5K but you would spend 3 times that much trying to get as much power as he does.

well you can do some homework and look up everything you need to turbo your engine... then once you have it you can go look for all the parts that you need to run boost at 5-7 psi.... if you go hunting in junkyards for the parts and barging with they owners you could get a turbo for like 50 bucks and everything else needed... but it will take you a lot of time and good luck to do this... or you can just run down to your local auto parts stop and get some octan boost .... and yea you'll feel a little kick...for 2 bucks a bottle

Ok. Here's my plan. CAI, new exhaust, spark plugs, and hoses, and an ECU upgrade. I'm only going to consider a turbo set-up when i do an engine rebuild, or when i can fork the money for one. But for now, just minor stuff. Also, im in no hurry so im doing research as we speak. Thx for the responds guys.

sounds good... but hold on to the ecu upgrade for and if you put a turbo on.. other wise your really not going to get much for it for what it's worth... but the CAI. exhaust and everything else it a step in the right direction... you might try getting a tranny kit... that way you can put more of the power to the wheels....

Been lookin for 6 spd trannys but never found any. Read threads about a 7th gen that might work for a 6th gen, but not sure myself. Also, would the GT tranny just bolt up? Or would i need extra mounts. I also need new shocks soon, so what do you guys recomend for replacements. I'm also gonna get new springs with the shocks, maybe TRD or Tein.

That's correct... AE111 toyota levin

The 7th gen 6 speed tranny will NOT fit. I researched it a bit, and the bolt patterns do not line up. The guy who initially said it was slightly confused as to which motor was in the Euro version of a Toyota Corolla hatchback, which ran a 3ZZfe... which can fit the celica 6 speed.

I have just about every bolt-on you can get for the 7AFE...refer to my profile. It'll improve your 1/4 times by about a second... and that's with actual runs and not guesstimation with a g-tech or any other thing.

just be happy with the transmission you have. that 6spd is too much money and too much trouble.
