Hey everyone, I was wondering if anyone has AC in their 4age?? And if so...how they did it. I currently have the stock ST AC tubes in the engine bay, but the connectors don't fit on the 4age AC compressor... anyone?? kindasad.gif

Yeah we normally run a/c on all of our swaps. You need to have a set of custom lines made. If you have the hose ends that fit your 4AGE compressor, then you're in good shape, figure out what angle they need to be at and then cut your old ends off and have someone who's real good with aluminum tig-welding just weld the new ends on. The other way to do it is to take the ends to a hydraulic or a/c hose shop and have them make all new hoses using your 4AGE ends.

Yeah, I still have a/c running with my 20v 4age. Ask Dr. Tweak, he knows all about it.

From my own experience, the 7afe compressor fit's the 4age bracket with no problem, it's just that the pulley is different and 1/2" too short in height to stay inline with the rest of the pulleys on the 4age.

could the compressor be spaced out with a shim or could the 4age clutch/pulley be swapped to the 7afe compressor?

Honestly I wish I knew frown.gif I've never tried it myself that's why I installed the 4age's a/c compressor and redid all the a/c lines for the car.
