i think it depends on what you use the car for?? if just road driving then whatever you think looks best, if track then no questions itl be the bigger the better
after driving the nurburg and having the rear wheels come off the floor at 145mph i will be buying the raiser blocks for my gt4 as i now know that 350bhp with a small spoiler just doesnt cut it when you are doing those speeds on a track. so the situations in which the car is used should tell you what you want, no spoiler on a track situation would be leathal -------------------- 1994 ST-205 JDM GTFour... fmic conversion finshed, project GT500 is underway

I tried to take my spoiler of just to see how i looks, but they have glued or siliconed it. So for now I will keep my spoiler even if I thinki it will go one day...i like the clean look a little bit better...

So for now I will keep my spoiler even if I thinki it will go one day...i like the clean look a little bit better... They use that ungodly 3M trim adhesive tape between the spoiler and hatch. It's hell to break the seal and get apart, and then you have to spend a LONG time rubbing to get all the residue off. It'll come off though. -------------------- |

Spoilerless looks nice, but so does a well-executed spoiler. Your choice. Like this?? I'm with fastbird, I say duckbill... but I'm biased too I do think it has a lot to do with the rest of the body work you plan on doing. I just had the little front corner splitters so I just wanted a little bit on the back to balance it out. If I had SSIII splitters and OEM skirts I'd probably go with a regular 2 post, TRD skirts and the splitters that go with it are bigger so I'd go with riser blocks, you get my point. -------------------- |

But ofcorse you all know my opinion: If anything the spoiler needs to be bigger -------------------- QUOTE (presure2 @ Nov 6, 2010 - 6:16 AM) Via FB: fcuking awsome!!! D-man FTW! can you pick up cable on that spoiler?
convertible looks much better clean imho nice 17s and dropped 40-50mm convertibles very rare over here in the uk but thats how i would think they would look best and with at least a 3s-ge under the hood as well instead of that thing they put in there like someone said earlier though its all down to personal taste This post has been edited by hardcoreproducer: Aug 1, 2008 - 3:17 PM |

at least a 3s-ge under the hood as well instead of that thing they put in there Don't listen to the hype - unless you're talking BEAMS 3S or 3S-GTE - there's not a huge improvement. The 5S-FE's torque can be impressive and that motor is very tough and with the right parts is very Turbo-able. Above all, you just got to know how to drive it and the right mods to add to bring out it's best. 90% of the people who own them don't know how to drive them. The non-turbo/BEAMS 3s isn't all that impressive either. -------------------- ENGINE: '93 RC 3S-GTE/WRC CT-20b [18-20PSI] PERF: TRD/HKS/ARP/NGK/MSD/ACT/Blitz/STRI/APEX'i/TwosRus/GReddy/Magnaflo/KOYO SUSP: Tein/Bilstein/SusTech/ INT: SS-III SEATS/Toyota Hyper Sports EXT: WRC/TRD/404 Its a safety feature so that people like you don't end up killing themselves or everyone around them. unless the auto box goes to 7k through at least the first 2 gears... You'd better put a FS: before talking dirty to me like that Hell, i'm lucky if mine hits 4500 w/ overdrive off. Running with no spoiler on a 6GC is growing on me. You may want to try it. At first, I didn't like it at all but it really gives the car a completely different look. Ridiculous spoilers aren't my thing. I think the stock spoiler for our cars is perfect. Adds to the styling without taking attention away from the curves. The huge spoilers are a distraction to me. I don't see a 6GC...just a huge spoiler. Hah. It's all I look at. -------------------- My new, blue spark plug wires gave my Celica, roughly, 250 more horsepower..
