I have the 04 model in my car but im still running the factory GT amp, is this ideal or would the scion/piooner unit sound even better if i bypass the amp???

i think the unit itself puts out more power than the amp, is it holding it back???

You can run the Pioneer radio without the factory amp, which would be the better option, in my opinion.
