Installed the aux jack for my ipod (nice oem location), so thought i'd shoot some video for fun. You'll see a nice V6 pull from 25-65 mph. Its short, but you'll get the idea. smile.gif

Sorry for the crap youtube quality, but enjoy anyway: Click

i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.

That's pretty fast. You should do a write up on the aux jack.

I'm looking to do something like that with the inputs of my DVD player - how did you do that with the AUX jack, snapshot?

My CD player already had two RCA jacks on the back for an AUX hookup. Got a good 3ft RCA cable, cut the ends off one side then soldered the "special" connector (anyway audio place will have this) on the end so it could be a direct plug in with a male-to-male headphone cord. I'm happy - it looks like OEM and cannot even see it when the armrest is down. smile.gif

That looks nice Snap - shoulda hit me up tho. I have RCA to Stereo headphone [Both male and female] wires in abundance.
This gives me ideas on what to do with that last aux in and the video in feed from my DVD player.

just out of curiosity snap, have you measured your 0-60mph times?

there is a neat inexpensive app for an Ipod Touch and/or Iphone that is pretty accurate here:

http://dynolicious.com/

it's been tested vs. a G-Tech & a real dyno in a Mini Cooper - vid is on youtube.com

i sure hope you can make it out to the track meet - it would be interesting to see how little R2's 1.6L 4agze would fare against your 3.0L V6 1mz smile.gif
