So i just cant leave my new vert alone AT ALL it seems biggrin.gif
I just did some exterior progress and had to take crappy night shots but i couldn't wait laugh.gif

I had already installed trd splitters in black but no pics as it messed with the lines too much even though they matched "color combo"
So here is the car, came with a brand new Viper red paint job, 16inch kazera wheels and facelift bumper:

Then I got my PCP clear lenses as this car didn't come with any:

I was on my way home when i stopped by my favorite paint shop to get a color matched pint of V-red:

Painted the splitters didn't even need to use my big compressor rolleyes.gif :

I let them dry through the day and came home at night to install them, while i was at it, why not put the fat fives on (32 offset FTMFW!!!!!):

Now............I KNOW, holy wheel gap, but first.....should i paint the stock skirts red too??? biggrin.gif

UPDATE 2/13/09
Painted teh skirts, curren HIRO rear splitters, and TRD badges PLUS a 1 inch spacer for the rear wheels!! redface.gif

UPDATE 4/10/2010

Didnt realize i never updated.....well i did suspension work to it, jdm'd it, TRD'd it, and drove it.........

yeah... the skirt I mean

Where did u order the CF lip from?
The material of the lip I have is ABS... can bend a bit... and more flexible, and you know our trunk is not really flat, have a little bit curve
If your Lip are made with CF, even thou its only the outer layer...
Seems can't be bend, but hope there won't be a problem, GL

For now probably - why not [since your not paying anyone to do it] but get some 404's or TRD's [Pretty sure someone is selling right now?] to match the splitters cause the vert skirts are too plain and not low enough.
Looking better already biggrin.gif

uh huh and your point is?? kindasad.gif

Badkarma, im using an iwita w400 spray gun, 17 Gallon craftsman anniversary compressor, and i use PPG DBU basecoat/clear....

weather has been unstable for days on end and for the next 2 weeks, plus even when its not raining humidity is in the 80% range so i haven't been able to spray the skirts here....plus my equipment is at my friends warehouse where i painted my old STX from red/blue to all black with enamel paint laugh.gif ....

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOo it took a LONG time mostly because everytime i had an oppertunity to paint them the weather would go crazy or it was too cold.....

So i just came in from spraying the sideskirts and the rear splitters, they will be on tommorow night so the clear has a full 24hrs before i sand out any dust nibs...I also added 20mm spacers to the already wide 32 offset wheels in the rear, looks mean to bad its not rwd frown.gif

tooo bad my camara broke on new years ehhh??

yes they were the stock wheels off my TT, and they look really good IMO there should be 6 new pics luke do they show??
And the spacers are hub centric, make sure they fit well cause i feel spacers are a bit dangerous, im gonna take them off for daily driving and put them on for shows/photoshoots..

Im currently fixing the rare 2 post wing for the car but after seeing it like this i decided not to install, im happy with this look the only next asthetic mods will be a drop, headlight bulbs (still have the ugly brown halogens),new top, and tint......

Ordering the 5pd swap today smile.gif

Yeah, 6 pics there. They do look good....

Yeah, i got hubcentric, I got THESE they have been recommended by a few people that have been running them for a while. They're steel and they bolt on to the hub, rather than just bolting through.

Should be fine.

That will look amazing after a drop thumbsup.gif
