5zigen Fnr01-c's 18x9.5 in the rear and 17x8 in the front excellent choice. I understand the staggered widths, but why the staggered sizes, as in, having 17's up front and 18's in the back? -------------------- 94 GT - Sold -------- 69 Pontiac Lemans - Sold 88 Alltrac - Sold ---- 04 WRX - Sold 00 GT-S - Sold ------ 91 Miata - project/drift car 95 GT - Sold -------- 96 GT - New Daily Drive |

a majority of what I consider higher class cars do it. like the dodge viper has 19's in back and 18's up front. it gives he car more of an aggressive stance. more rake like older muscle cars.
its some what common on mr2's. I fell in love with this mr2 and mine is going to look very similar. 17's 18's also. visually its not that much of a difference it doesn't grab you by the head and smash your face in it, its more subtle i think. -------------------- |

It kind of smashes your face in at that angle . But I can imagine it indeed looking a lot subtler in person. Those are like the ONLY rims 5zigen makes that I don't entirely hate so I approve regardless -------------------- |

lotus elise's do it too with 16's and 17's, and of course corvette's. I just never understood what the point was. but I'll have to agree, it is very aggressive looking.

Yup, Vipers, Vettes, Nsx, Elise. it increases understeer and the mr2 has plenty of oversteer so i'm hoping it will balance it out some.
