So I found a webby that had the Curb weight values for the T200s (minus 204) and I was looking at some of the data and it surprised me when it said the automatic ST was 340kg heavier than the manual ST.
So now its really bothering me, I haven't been able to find any other sources on how much the auto weighs and I don't have one myself so I can't go out and weigh it. Sooo....... How much does it actually weigh? And if 1510kg is accurate... Why does it weigh so much? -------------------- (\__/) (='.'=) This is bunny. 1086kg = curb weight (2,415 lbs)
That's not bad at all for the ST. But these aren't actual real world numbers and I don't know if this is auto or manual, but # from two different web sources... http://www.internetautoguide.com/car-speci...lica/index.html http://www.toyotacelicas.com/information/years/1997.html This post has been edited by CAMAricer: Aug 24, 2008 - 1:06 PM -------------------- 2002 SC430 (WC) - 19" SSR Comp-H, Daizen swaybars, Sparco Demons, JDM Soarer conversion, carbon fiber spoiler, Injen intake, front strut bar, drilled/slotted Brembo rotors 1997 Celica ST (DD) - 17" ADR, ViS Zyclone CF hood, ViS CF hatch, K&N intake, Invader body kit |

ps. the weight difference in gearboxes is more like 30kgs, not 340 lol Thats what I would think but I haven't found any other sources to tell me that. Most just list the manual. Honestly, I didn't even know it came with an automatic option. All of the STs I have seen are manual and I figured most to all of them would be since the ST is so stripped down. Well whatever, I still want to know what the REAL figure is out of curiosity. -------------------- (\__/) (='.'=) This is bunny.
