Hey guys!

I've been with 6GC for about a year now, all I've been doing is saving up for the possibility of having a celica a nice as some of the celicas on this forum. Some of the celicas made me drool, really drool. laugh.gif Well after a few good months of researching i went with the decision to go SS-iii. I love the clean look and the fact that it was actually stock. (in Japan of course lol) So after a year of saving up i've finally completed my front end conversion. My celica was a bone-stock white 95 vert when i bought it. Now to present you my SS-iii copy with the Evo inspired front.

Very first day i bought my car

Right before the conversion, this is what i've been driving with for about a year now LOL

Before splitters, and black paint.

Just today, sorry all i had is my phone's camera.

Here is a small shout out to the people who helped me collect some of my parts.
Rayme - for the clear high and soon to be retrofitted low beams, looks so much better than stock
I3arruka - for the fogs, thanks dude!
QuintinGT - for selling me the splitters for so cheap caused i lived to so far away lol, thanks!

most important thank you.
GriffGirl - for buying the clear turn signals and sides
Thanks so much for taking your time and effort to help me buy these. I was not willing to go stock turns and was really regretting the conversion cause i had the splitters and fogs already. But thanks to you, one of the few people who was willing to steppup to the plate. Now its finally complete, THANKS MICHELLE!

All your guys parts on my car biggrin.gif

thanks guys! the good thing about this SS-iii replica is that where i live im the 2nd celica to have done this... so its still pretty unique.

my motor was rebuilt about a 2 years ago with the previous owner, using really cheap gaskets all around. This is according to my mechanic friend who works at Toyota with me. I currently have a stock 5sfe, but after blows, either bored out rebuilt 5sfe turbo or 3sgte biggrin.gif

holden look... i've been doing some research and i know what you guys are talking about. lol. didn't know a car like that existed, or even that kinda of style. i was tying to do something like the new mitsubishi evos.

like this for example

To Rusty: how come its illegal over there? the bulbs are orange so they still give it the stock light look. lol.

thats funny, because those lights were bought for me by griffgirl and were than sent to me. because up in canada, if i were to buy them the shipping on them was outrageous and they didn't off any insurance. I really couldn't afford to lose 90 + w.e taxes i got on them too when they came here. Instead i was able to find someone in the United States to buy them first and send it to me, took a little longer and save me a bit too! i dont think they have anymore sets on ebay, but next try asking one of the people on this board. they are very very helpful!

oh damn.. umm... didn't mean to copy, was trying to imitate the new evo's but didn't have a grill to wrap the black around.
yours looks better cause your paint matches and you don't have those ricey side markers like mine.

Cheers to us, mate!! wink.gif

Very nice. I especially like the painted Toyota hood badge. You need a hood spoiler and ss-iii grille, though wink.gif
