I'm having some problem taking out my exhaust manifold the bolts that are located on the bottom of the manifold are a !@$% to get off I got one off or will....it snapped off and I'm having problems getting to the rest of the bolts located behind on the bottom of the manifold is their a easier way of getting them off ?? And yes I do have the chilten and haynes manual for the car. Thanks
Edit: I don't have a impact gun either..... Edit 2: I'm trying to change my gaskets btw. This post has been edited by Remy: Oct 17, 2008 - 11:17 PM -------------------- "To Protect And To Serve The Wealthy" -POLICE

u could try some anti-seize, and then a longer cheater bar. Or you could take it to a shop and have them loosen the bolts for you, they might want like 20 bucks. I would replace them once you do get them out.

spray lots of wd40 then go at it with a breaker bar. You'll get it.

Had a problem with a real bad bolt before, had to take it to shop where they had to torch it. Might be an option.
