Why would you want to? Those were by far the jankiest contraption ever put into a car. I'm happy every day that they died out around 2000.

Of course, that's just my opinion. Anything can be done if you've got $ and know the right person who can fabricate it.

i find it a hassle to buckle up.. LOL

i have remote start so i just hop in and i wanan go but i gotta buckle up sooo i wanna change that.. lol

This doesn't completely answer your question, but it is pretty easy to install JDM Celica pretensioner seatbelts and seatbelt reminder into any Celica if you have basic electronics skills.

Yes you did and that had to easily be the worst new design for the automotive industry. There is a reason noone makes them anymore on new cars. wink.gif

Ha! You obviously don't wory on American cars very often! I see a new "worst design" almost every time I work on a chevy/chrysler/ford laugh.gif
