Hey guys, flame away if you want but im desparate lol....with strenuous searching and alot of help from death no win. does anyone know anybody who works at a toyota dealership? and if so, maybe i can buy some shift linkages? and if so, can i get them for what they get them for? biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

I don't have the cables with me, but I'm sure I can get cables for s54 tranny, question, does the cables from teh camry s54 are the same ? that would make it easier to get them.

I can check for you this weekend as this is a whole day hunting event at the local junkyards there are like 10 of them on a 2 blocks area

I work at a Toyota dealership but brand new shifter cables would probably still be a lot of money. I would just go with the used ones Stevenson can get you.

thanks man! im really trying to avoid THE TOYOTA RAPE! I dont know if they are the same though, camrys are automatic though right links may be different?

I checked the part numbers and they are different so it's safe to assume they are different.

I'll go junkyarding tomorrow.

PM me your number so I can call you from there when they tell me the price, that way I can verify that the price they give me is something you want to pay. even though U can say that I get good prices from them.


They are Domincans mostly, and it doesn't hurt that I'm Dominican as well biggrin.gif
