can we all just like pitch $20 and buy it back? Its really sad to see a car like that just floating around, especially since that's the hallmark for all STs IMO

You'd need 325 members at $20 ea - not likely. It's a shame that car is owned by someone who would rather own a "Honda, Turbo Honda or a 240SX with a SR20DET swap"

Everyone is pretty sad to see this icon just going from garage to garage. I think someone should buy it and If I didn't have tuition to pay I'd probably buy it. I have no qualms about spending my money frivolously when I have it. I inquired about it like a month ago because he posted it on Portland CL too. He doesn't respond to emails. I think someone called him a while back too, and he didn't call back. I guess he's just waiting for a Civic to drop into his lap.

I emailed him. I believe this is the same guy as before, but I'll see if/when he replies. I want my damn shift knob back that is in it! i bought it from Coomer in the $4.5K range and put near $3500 into correcting the wiring and throttle problem, a few mods like a new exhaust, corbeau seats, one-off harness bar, etc. and then sold it for $6000 due to buying my WRX and moving. That was january of 2008. It has had 5 or 6 other owners since then. a good price on it now is $5000-$5500.
