we have to take into account that TRD quick shifter come in one whole assembly, with the actual shifter already mounted on a plastic piece instead of re-using the old one like people do with those eBay shifters.

the actual shifter ( metal shaft ) will fit, that we know, the real question here is if the whole assembly is compatible or not, because if it's not, then people would be wasting their money in it.

ya the "stiffness" he was talking about is the real problem. well if you celi is a DD then nvm this coverstaion. but in the high RPM's this ****fer WON"T SHIFT.... atleast mine from 1st-2nd is horrible and 2-3 is a pain...

i just feel more at ease with a stock throw shifter.. i'd rather it be smoother than smaller.

i don't need a short shifter to quick shift that hoe! jkjk haha

I can also confirm that the generic 7th gen short shift mod is junk......we hated it since the minute we felt it, it was Notchy as SIN and it contributed to transmission failure on e153/LSD...
I had a genuine TRD and it was MUUUUUUUUUUUUCH better.....this was on an S54 and only had problems getting into 3rd once in a while at 7000+ rpm shifts..

nothing like stock for smooth shifts though

Mine works flawlessly, smooth-as just like the stock's, you might want to put some grease between the ball joint and the plastic assembly.

there is....

the assembly out of the car. is amazing.

i guess it just doesn't work with my set up, and/or i don't like that specific shifter.

although i feel like i'm driving a TRUCK, i like the stock throw better on my car. hahaha
