No, it looks like a hooker put her acid vag on your hood. Acid vag = bigger problem than a few dings.

you can make any double din flush mounted.. you just need to drill new holes deeper inside the stereo bracket and voila..

my stereo protrudes out a bit.. my measurements were a bit off... kindasad.gif

We've had a DDx-8017 Kenwood Excelon in ours since 2006. Out for repair right now unfortunately. I'm probably going to drill the brackets to flush mount it when I get it back next week though.....never though about doing that til' I saw this thread.

I planned to buy a dubbeldin LCD with a 7" touch screen... (but I didn't, could only find one 2din radio with adjustable face, and I didn't like that one (JVC KW-AVX810))
But I bought a JVC 1Din with a 3,5 inch..
Here you see my both pannels..

It's a official toyota part... But I don't know the part number any more..

i have an apline just like the one posted earlier. I originally just ISO mounted it with the stock locations, but it seriously takes like 15 minutes tops to get it to sit perfectly flush.

what i did, i mounted it from the factory holes, then measured how far out it stuck, and wrote that number down.

then took it out, measured out from the factory holes IN THE ANGLE OF WHICH IT MOUNTS - because mine was not a perfect 0 degree's with the bracket, it was maybe about 10-20 degrees off the center line. then just drilled new holes at the markings.

i do however, miss it hanging out, because i used to rest my middle or ring finger on the top to be more precise with my touch selections.

at the end of the day, the car can still be converted 100% back to stock apperance and function easily - no permanate modification is needed (that can be seen at least)

best of luck to you!

Here it is.
This was home made install. In 30 min.
No trims...no cuts...
Just plug and play tongue.gif

Seens a little offset but is only the inclination position choose in menu.

Very happy about it smile.gif

P.S - I remember they also have one 2DIN TOYOTA OEM REPLICA MODEL, Special Model.
Is was litle bit more expensive but have the look and felling from TOYOTA DESIGN....
If you want good models for celica contact that shop they will definely find the perfect model tongue.gif
