Looks nice, glad you were able to get ti out to get pics taken....Running good so far right? Spider, after changing the solenoids it wasn't that bad, but I ended with a manual trans swap. Now I have a competition stage 1 clutch and 3sgte light flywheel. Stupid automatic shift solenoids wow.. nice ride! Now you see why I have no need for my other rear and front splitter set. the car looks great! my front plate is tilted too... just because it's being held by zip ties to the grill. there's no other way to have it. Gerald, I opted to complete me ss-III front end instead of the gt-four, but I learned so much from that info. that I know I can do it if I had to. Bseaman - I used to have the darkest tint all the way around even the sunroof - illegal in most places. There was a law that took in effect just a couple weeks ago that banned a full face tint. That means most in front is an 8". I just removed everything in the front because it looked dumb with just the 8" strip. However, they still do look dark because they did not ban the side tinting and rear. This post has been edited by trdproven: Feb 1, 2009 - 4:53 AM -------------------- 94 Celica GT

i have thought about getting the blocks in order to complete everything but I keep looking at them and somehow they do not look solid enough from the front angle as they do from the side and rear. I think the reason why is because the gt-four front end is more buff so it matches much better. I will think about getting them still. I will not get the clear side repeaters but the amber ones. I am a fan of amber (JDMMMM). This will be done and relocated to the side fender on my next paint job. This makes it the 3rd paint job in less than 3 years. repaint of the stock, superwhite with platinum pearl, and now maybe superwhite again with a lexus pearl. Want to try red but it hides the taillight beauty, want black but it hides the accessories and the detail too much. White seems to be the best of both worlds. Funny thing is that I never liked white my whole life. It grew on me.
All of this ss-III thing is reminding me of maikl's car - that is indeed a beauty. maikl This post has been edited by trdproven: Feb 1, 2009 - 5:37 AM -------------------- 94 Celica GT

I don't want to be stink, And I know your car looks alot better than mine and you've obviously spent alot more money on it than I have... But.......
That looks nothing like an SS-III and the license plate holder isn't "tilt," It's just the right size to fit a Japanese license plate, their plates aren't tilted, yours just doesn't fit properly. What it does look like though is a nice tidy Celica, *thumbs up* -------------------- Mike W

It is a tilt - do you want me to show you how far it can tilt back in, that is the minimum tilt that I've set it to. I can adjust it more forward and tilt far more in. I can even adjust it lower too. If you knew anything at all you would have notice the tilt adjustment bolts on the sides. The black piece is for the OEM bumper and the metal piece is the JDM tilt holder bought seperately.
For your information - the only thing missing is the riser blocks from a TRUE ss-III. I have everything else exterior wise for an SS-III. Don't mean to be rude but go back to Malpaso's ss-III thread information and re-adjust your reply or delete it This post has been edited by trdproven: Feb 1, 2009 - 10:57 PM -------------------- 94 Celica GT
