I love getting new stuff, I have barely got to try out my 16-35 f2.8L because the weather has
been so crappy lately, foggy, rainy and just blah. I want to go for a road trip but I am eagerly awaiting
for the mail to arrive with my 70-200 f2.8L IS and 1.4x extender today.

I bought it, the 16-35, and the extender used from a couple members on potn. The guy I got the 70-200
from was switching to medium format. The lens was bought new in nov 07 and it looks like brand new.
The 16-35 is a 2005 model and the hood has some wear but the body and glass are perfect. I am very happy I
went this route. It isn't like buying off e-bay, you can look at peoples old posts, see pics they have taken
and basicly learn the entire history of the item. I got the 70-200 for $300 less than new, the 16-35 is a mkI
but I got it for about $575 less than a new mkII. The mkI works better for me anyway because it uses 77mm
filters like my other 2 L lenses not the expensive 82mm.
